The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia will provide support to domestic exporters of cosmetic and perfume products in exploring new markets. This was announced by Deputy Minister Mikhail Yurin at the International Perfumery and Cosmetics Industry Exhibition InterCHARM.
"Export markets, such as China or the UAE, definitely need to be pursued. On international cooperation, we still have commitments from the previous period; we slightly reduced support measures, but starting next year, we will certainly add certain limits. And as a separate track, we can look into how we can help our perfume and cosmetics manufacturers enter these markets and capture them. For example, subsidies for transporting products," Yurin stated.
According to him, there are already support measures in place for certain directions, which apply to several countries, including Vietnam. "If you ship a container, half of its cost will be subsidized," he emphasized, adding that promotional events and administrative work are also being carried out to promote the products.
The InterCHARM exhibition is taking place in Moscow from October 15 to 18, with an exhibition route spanning 15 km. In 2025, the event will feature 1,468 companies from more than 30 countries.
