Russia increased its ice cream exports to China to $951,000, reaching the highest level in the last four years. This was reported by Chinese customs.
The volume of shipments increased 1.7 times compared to March 2024. Russia's share in the Chinese ice cream market grew from 3.8% to 6.3%, allowing it to take fifth place among exporting countries.
The leading suppliers to the Chinese market are France – 5.7million, Spain–3.2 million, Japan – 1.4million, and NewZealand–1.2 million.
“The growth in demand for Russian ice cream is linked to its quality and competitive price,” noted the China Food Industry Association.
