On March 20, 2025, a delegation from North Korea's Ministry of External Economic Affairs, which is in Russia at the invitation of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, visited JSC "SVOBODA".
The purpose of the visit was to explore Russian production of cosmetics and hygiene products and to identify areas for mutually beneficial cooperation in the future.
In welcoming the delegation, CEO of JSC "SVOBODA" E.A. Panteleev said: "By hospitably opening our doors, JSC 'SVOBODA' is ready to exchange experience with Korean partners in both the production of finished goods and the development of new modern ingredients."
During the visit, the guests toured the workshops producing bar soap, cosmetics, toothpaste, and shampoos. Of particular interest was the visit to the product display room, where Korean specialists not only saw all the current product lines but also reviewed the best examples of products manufactured by JSC "SVOBODA" over the past 70 years.
At the end of the visit, North Korea's Minister of External Economic Affairs Yun Jong Ho thanked the specialists at JSC "SVOBODA" for an exceptionally interesting program and expressed hope that the start of cooperation between the cosmetologists of the two countries would be an exchange of expertise between the scientific experts of JSC "SVOBODA" and the Korean cosmetic company "Pomhyanggi."
The export activity of JSC "SVOBODA" covers most of the CIS and EAEU countries. The company supplies its products to Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkmenistan. Recently, export activities have been actively expanding into markets such as China, Vietnam, Iran, and other Asian countries.
