In Novosibirsk (Russia), the construction of a plant for the production of pharmaceutical equipment has been planned.

A large-scale production facility for manufacturing equipment for the pharmaceutical industry is planned to be established in the "Novosib" park. The company "Koordinata" has already begun implementing the project. Currently, the investor is awaiting an easing of credit conditions and is refining technologies for subsequent scaling, reports the Infopro54 portal, citing Alexander Tarasov, deputy general director of LLC "Novaya Lizingovaya Kompaniya" and a member of the Novosibirsk City Council.

Production is expected to be launched in the "Novosib" industrial park, located on the left bank of the metropolis. "Koordinata" has been a resident of the park since 2020. The company's commercial director, Mikhail Vorobyev, noted that over the past four years, the production area has increased from 100 to 800 square meters. According to him, such growth is due to the departure of foreign manufacturers from the Russian market.

"We used to develop production lines for insulin and various liquid pharmaceutical forms, but after the market opened up, we gained the opportunity to enter new niches. For example, we are now actively focusing on manufacturing equipment for producing tablet forms of medications. Moreover, we're talking about creating our own developments, not just engineering. Our company has its own design bureau that handles these tasks," emphasized Vorobyev.

He added that the company plans to double its production volume. Building a new plant is also in the future plans. However, the implementation of this project depends on financial considerations. Additionally, requirements for pharmaceutical equipment are strictly regulated, so even amid import substitution, companies must maintain high-quality standards.

"The economy is on the handbrake, and developing using internal resources alone isn’t happening as quickly as we’d like," he added.

Currently, 114 enterprises operate within the "Novosib" park, 39 of which are manufacturing companies. The turnover of the industrial park’s residents exceeds 9.8 billion rubles. According to data from "Kontur.Focus," LLC "Koordinata" was established in 2017. Dmitry Zhalybin is listed as its director and founder. The company's revenue amounts to 72.7 million rubles (+298%), with a net profit of 2.3 million rubles.
