Agreements to modernize two packaging plants in Kuban worth 900 million rubles were signed at Innoprom-2026.
At the Innoprom-2026 exhibition in Yekaterinburg, a delegation of the Krasnodar region headed by Vice-Governor Alexander Ruppel signed agreements on the development of two packaging material plants in the region. Total investment will exceed 900 million rubles.
According to Ruppel, packaging production plays a special role for the agrarian region: Kuban producers supply packaging for 60% of the food and processing industry in the region. About 50 enterprises supply the products, and over the past ten years packaging output has more than doubled.
“Kuban is one of the country's leading agrarian regions, a guarantor of Russia's food security. Given the region's growing needs, both in the agro-industrial complex and the restaurant business, it is important for us to support the scaling of local producers,” the regional administration's press service quotes Alexander Ruppel.
The first agreement was signed with SFT Group. In the Timashevsky district on the territory of the Timashevsk industrial park, the company is modernizing its corrugated packaging production with investments of 500 million rubles.
By 2031 the company plans to reach 110 million sq m of corrugated packaging per year, expand its product range and improve quality. SFT Group Chairman of the Board Yevgeny Glezman noted the lines will be integrated with the company's own raw material unit.
The second agreement was concluded with LIGA-PAK in the Dinsky district with investments of 385 million rubles. The company currently produces more than 2.4 thousand tons a year — from baking paper and parchment to foil and ice bags.
The project will increase production capacity by 30%, expand the product line and create 25 new jobs.
Key facts of the agreements:
- Total investment — over 900 million rubles;
