"Mixit" company has launched a new plant in Solnechnogorsk with a capacity of 340 tons of products per day and created more than 500 jobs.
The largest player in the Russian cosmetics and dietary supplements market, "Mixit", has officially opened a new production complex in Solnechnogorsk, Moscow region. The declared capacity of the enterprise is about 340 tons of products per day, and total investments in the project have reached 1.4 billion rubles.
Modern automated equipment has been installed at the new site, and the production chain covers a full cycle — from the development of formulas and formulations to the packaging of finished products and delivery to the warehouse. This is one of the largest industrial launches in the cosmetics and dietary supplements sector in recent years.
With the opening of the complex, the company will be able to produce up to 14 million units of cosmetic products per month. At the same time, the project creates more than 500 new jobs, which gives the region a significant economic effect and stimulates the development of related infrastructure.
The range of the new plant will be wide — several product categories will be launched under one roof:
- creams, masks, scrubs and patches for the face;
- shampoos and body gels;
- decorative cosmetics;
- biologically active additives (dietary supplements);
- household chemicals for the home.
As noted by Elena Nazarova, co—founder of "Mixit", the launch of the new complex is a logical continuation of the brand's growth strategy:
"The factory will produce a wide range of products: creams, masks, scrubs, patches, shampoos and gels. At the same time, we will explore new areas — the production of decorative cosmetics, biologically active additives, as well as household chemicals for the home. With the opening of the new complex, the company will be able to produce 14 million cans of various types of cosmetics per month, twice as much as it is now."
The launch of the "Mixit" plant is an important signal about the further localization of the cosmetics and dietary supplements industry in Russia. It is expected that the growth of local supply will increase competition among domestic producers, promote the emergence of new brands and lower prices for consumers.
It is noteworthy that the project is being implemented against the background of the general upsurge in the industry: in February 2025, a new factory of the ARABIA Professional brand was launched in Protvino, Moscow region (investments — 700 million rubles, 200 jobs), and a year earlier "Mixit" expanded the product category, starting the production of dietary supplements under the brands Salutera and Mixvit.
According to analysts, by 2030, the Russian industry is capable of becoming dominant in the domestic cosmetics market, turning the country into an independent cosmetics cluster with a full production cycle — from raw materials to finished products. The successful implementation of projects such as the "Mixit" plant will be the key to this transition.
