Siberian plant NOTIS showcased fresh projects: flow-pack machines, inclined lines for fragile products and feed packaging.
Siberian packaging equipment manufacturer NOTIS released a video of its assembly shop in Berdsk (Novosibirsk region), shot on September 10, 2026. The frame captured a range of new machines and lines being assembled and going through final testing before delivery to customers across Russia and Belarus.
This time there are especially many horizontal flow-pack machines in the shop. Alongside, a large feed packaging line and two systems with inclined vertical machines for fragile products are being assembled. Among the projects are equipment for packaging candies, gozinaki, crackers, crispbreads and ready meals.
Key September assembly projects:
- Third flow-pack machine of 2026 for a Belarusian electronics manufacturer — the machine forms a euro-slot by hot burning on a servo drive;
- A new flow-pack for individual wrapping of chocolates, marshmallow bars, nutrition bars and halva — the system packs 350 bars x 2 lines per minute;
- Inclined vertical machine MDU-NOTIS-07M-servo-4P-H30 for fragile gozinaki (30° tilt) forming quad-packs with welded ribs;
- A large feed packaging line for a Tula enterprise with doses of 5, 10 and 30 kg plus a separate doser up to 3 kg;
- A dosing-and-packaging line with a multi-head weigher for crackers and snacks for Ufa — the machine is installed at a 45° angle for gentle product handling;
- A flow-pack machine for wrapping in-flight ready meals at a Russian airport;
- Equipment for packaging crispy crispbreads for a customer working with NOTIS since 2013.
Engineers paid special attention to preserving fragile products. In inclined designs the product does not fall vertically onto the bottom of the bag being formed, but hits the film tangentially and slides down smoothly with it. This reduces impact load and minimizes broken pieces and crumbs.
"The machine is designed for individual wrapping of chocolates, marshmallow bars, nutrition bars and halva. On one machine the enterprise can package several product types and re-adjust when switching between formats," the company notes.
The company emphasizes that all machines are manufactured at its own full-cycle plant, with its own electronics and unique algorithms. NOTIS solutions cover dosing and packaging of dry food and non-food products from 20 g to 50 kg.
The Tula project became an illustrative example of service work: the customer weighed bags manually up to 2000 g, although the doser, rated for a 3–30 kg range, was used for 2 kg portions. The service team contacted the enterprise and helped simplify the line, removing the extra operation.
NOTIS has been on the market since 1992 and supplies packaging equipment to food industry enterprises across Russia and CIS countries, offering both individual machines and fully automated lines with robotic feeding and stacking systems.
