The NIZHFARM Group of Companies has announced the launch of a new packaging line for soft dosage form pharmaceuticals in Nizhny Novgorod.
Over 158 million rubles were invested in the design, equipment procurement, and construction and installation works. The new line is capable of operating at a maximum speed of 270 packages per minute, which will increase the production volume of soft dosage forms by 50%. The modern equipment allows for the production of all types of soft dosage forms manufactured at the Nizhny Novgorod site of the NIZHFARM Group of Companies. Among the priorities are pharmaceuticals packaged in 40-gram doses.
The first drug to come off the new production line was the popular "Levomekol" ointment, which remains one of the most in-demand products among consumers. In 2024, over 15 million packages were sold. It holds the top spot in terms of sales volume in pharmacies, leads in prescriptions by surgeons, and ranks among the top three most recommended brands by pharmacists.
