The Printomir printing house (Gofromir Group) in Noginsk announced a 30% output growth and the launch of eco-friendly lamination.
On September 23, 2026, a press tour of Gofromir Group took place in Noginsk near Moscow at the new full-cycle printing house Printomir. The management summed up the first year of operation and revealed plans to scale up cardboard packaging production.
The site, launched in summer 2025, is now capable of producing more than 50 million packaging units per month. In its second year, the company intends to increase output by 30% — through fuller capacity utilization and expansion of delivery geography beyond the Moscow region.
"In the first year it was important for us to set up all production processes and teamwork — from sales and design development to technology and production itself. At the next stage we plan to increase output by 30% through fuller utilization of created capacities. At the same time, we will focus not only on volumes but also on more technologically complex projects," noted Sergei Novikov, owner and founder of Gofromir Group.
Key facts about the enterprise:
- area — 4.6 thousand sq. m with a closed loop: offset and flexographic printing, lamination, casemaking, die-cutting and gluing;
- four-color flexographic printing directly on corrugated board launched — entry into the transport packaging segment with complex graphics;
- about 4 million units produced in 12 months and 75 new box designs developed;
- the plant maintains 18 modern equipment units.
Special attention was drawn to cyber-physical systems: software controls material tension and ink viscosity in real time, minimizing the defect rate. More than a third of mid-segment clients already send AI-generated images to the print shop, and company engineers adapt AI layouts to the requirements of industrial printing.
At the same time, testing of a new type of eco-friendly lamination was completed — the company is preparing to release the first industrial batch of packaging using it. Management is betting on deeper raw-material processing and lower environmental impact, which meets the current demands of the food industry.
"Today production needs specialists who can work with different materials, designs and technologies. That is why one of our tasks is to train such professionals within the company," said Sergei Perkov, head of print production at Printomir.
In the first year, about 50 qualified jobs were created, and the team will keep growing as utilization increases. The launch of the Noginsk site confirms the sustainable potential of the Russian packaging industry, which is replacing foreign supplies and mastering technologies for food and consumer-goods packaging.
