"Rinsler Pak" is investing 840 million rubles in a new import-substituting production of plastic packaging for cosmetics and household chemicals in Vsevolozhsk.
"Rinsler" Group intends to invest 840 million rubles in import-substituting production of plastic packaging for cosmetics and household chemicals. The new company will appear on the existing site of JSC "Rinsler Pak" in the city of Vsevolozhsk, Leningrad region.
According to Denis Ilyin, Director of "Rinsler Pak" JSC, the annual capacity of the new site will be 92 million bottles without printing, 23 million bottles with printing, as well as 237 million container lids. As a result, 177 new jobs will be created at the enterprise.
"Currently, imported packaging occupies 60% of the Russian market. We hope to displace foreigners by reducing their share in Russia by 10-15%," Denis Ilyin said.
Of the total investments, about 20% are the company's own funds, the rest is a loan from the Industrial Development Fund on preferential terms. The final stage of installation of engineering equipment is currently underway at the site.
Here are the key parameters of the new project:

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the company's own assessment, the share of imported packaging in the Russian market today reaches about 60%. ""After our company reaches its design capacity, we will be able to reduce the share of imports by 10-15%," predicts the head of "Rinsler Pak".
The company has been owning its own cosmetics and household chemicals production for seven years. "We know how difficult it can be to find and buy the right amount of high-quality packaging and get it on time. The new production facility will provide containers for ourselves, our partners, and the market," Denis Ilyin emphasized. The company will produce packaging for cosmetics, household chemicals, as well as for everyone who uses polyethylene (PE) and PET containers.
Experts assess the prospects of the project positively: the demand for packaging for cosmetics and household chemicals in Russia is steadily growing, largely due to the localization of production and the entry of domestic brands into the markets of the East and South. According to Rosstat, the volume of the plastic bottle market in the country last year amounted to 11.5 billion rubles with an increase of 65%.
"ALPLA", "ZTI Group", JSC "Plant Protey" and "World of Packaging" remain the largest manufacturers of bottles for perfumery and cosmetics in Russia. The launch of "Rinsler Pak" facilities will increase competition in this segment and accelerate import substitution.
