The Pharmasintez Group of Companies has announced receiving the status of a resident of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) "Technopolis Moscow." The SEZ resident status opens up new opportunities for development and strengthening positions in the pharmaceutical industry market, providing a range of benefits, including access to modern technological platforms and state support in infrastructure and production development.

Oleg Astafurov, Vice President for Government Relations at Pharmasintez Group, and Timofey Batalov, Production Director at Pharmasintez-Biocapital, presented the business project of the Pharmasintez Group of Companies at the ceremony for becoming residents of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow." The investment project for creating a production facility for import-substituting oncological drugs at the "Alabushkino" site (Zelenograd, Moscow) will be implemented as part of the fulfillment by JSC "Pharmasintez" of the conditions of an offset contract with the Moscow Department of Health. According to this contract, the first deliveries of medicines for the needs of the Moscow healthcare system are expected to begin as early as the beginning of 2026.

"The Pharmasintez pharmaceutical group of companies, being one of the flagships of the domestic pharmaceutical industry and primarily specializing in the production of socially significant medicines for the needs of medical and preventive institutions in the country, will build and launch one of its new plants in 2025. By order from the Government of Moscow, the sixth pharmaceutical plant will be built on the 'Alabushkino' site of the SEZ 'Technopolis Moscow.' The new production facility will specialize in the manufacture of oncological drugs, which will strengthen the group's position in the oncology segment, where every third package for treating oncological diseases is already produced at Pharmasintez plants. This is our first joint project with the Government of Moscow, and our plans for the future include deepening and expanding cooperation in ensuring the Moscow healthcare system with effective and safe medicines, including innovative ones," noted Oleg Astafurov.
