A delegation from the National Center for Standard Reference Materials (NCSRМ) participated in one of the world's largest pharmaceutical industry exhibitions — CPHI China in Shanghai — from June 24 to 27. The event brought together representatives from the pharmaceutical sector, leading manufacturers of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), intermediate compounds, and other key industry players.

During the exhibition, representatives of the National Center for Standard Reference Materials (NCSRМ) met directly with manufacturers of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), discussed current market trends, requirements for raw material quality, and prospects for cooperation. Participation in CPHI China provided an opportunity not only to explore new products and technologies, but also to strengthen ties with key pharmaceutical component suppliers.

In addition to attending the exhibition, the NCSRМ team held a series of business meetings in Shanghai, including visits to the production facilities of Chinese partners. This allowed them to assess firsthand the level of technological processes, quality standards, and potential for further collaboration.

"Participation in CPHI China and negotiations with manufacturers gave us valuable insight into the current state of the API market," noted Andrey Berman, General Director of NCSRМ. "We have not only expanded our network of contacts, but also confirmed the reliability of potential suppliers — which is crucial for ensuring the quality of pharmaceutical products in Russia."

"NCSRМ continues to actively develop international cooperation, contributing to the enhancement of standards in the pharmaceutical industry," concluded the organization.
