According to data from the press service of the Association "Rosspetsmash," the volume of food equipment production in Russia from January to August 2025 amounted to 130.4 billion rubles, which is 0.4% higher than the level of the previous year. Exports grew by 15.6% and reached 11.1 billion rubles, while the share of domestic factories in the domestic market increased to 53.6% (+1.6 percentage points).
These figures were announced by the President of the Association, Konstantin Babkin, at the "Food Machinery Manufacturing-2025" forum, which took place in Moscow with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Union of Machine Builders of Russia.
Industry dynamics over recent years:
- From 2020 to 2024, the production of food equipment in Russia increased by 233% — from 64.8 billion rubles to 216 billion rubles;
- Exports grew by 43% — from 12.2 billion rubles to 17.5 billion rubles;
- The share of Russian companies in the domestic market rose from 37% to 53%.
Meanwhile, the total volume of the food equipment market in Russia for January–August 2025 decreased by 3.8% and amounted to 225.5 billion rubles.
The Association "Rosspetsmash" has proposed increasing import customs duties on food equipment from unfriendly countries to 30%, provided that analogous equipment is produced in Russia.
