Unified labeling rules for certain types of food products have been established across EAEU member states (Decision of the EEC Council dated December 5, 2025, No. 122). These products include, in particular, crispbreads, rusks, croutons, potato chips, spices and seasonings, ready-to-eat soups, and pasta products.
Member States of the Union will independently determine the effective date and procedure for labeling products within their respective territories, notifying the EEC no later than six months prior to the commencement of such measures.
Requirements for product identification tools and the procedure for their application have been defined. Additionally, it has been specified which information contained in the product labeling information system will be made available to consumers.
Each member country guarantees recognition of identification tools issued by other member states, provided they comply with the unified requirements.
