Half a billion rubles will be invested in the development of the "Pharmasynthesis-Tyumen" plant, according to Vikram Puniya, President of the Pharmasynthesis Group. He added that the funds will be used to launch a department for depot pharmaceutical forms, which will produce modern anti-tumor hormonal drugs and hormone antagonists.
The portfolio of drugs planned for production includes several items from two pharmacotherapeutic groups.
As part of the project implementation, the production of medicinal drugs used in medicine for a variety of indications is planned: for treating infertility, uterine fibroids, reducing sex hormone levels during the treatment of hormone-sensitive types of cancer such as prostate and breast cancer, certain gynecological conditions like dysmenorrhea and endometriosis, high testosterone levels in women, precocious puberty in children, explained Vikram Puniya.
Additionally, this year "Pharmasynthesis-Tyumen" plans a large-scale reconstruction of the solid dosage forms workshop, which is expected to increase production capacity by 50%.
