In the "Novosib" industrial park, the company LLC "Koordinata" plans to build a facility for the production of equipment for pharmaceutical plants.
Mikhail Vorobyov, the commercial director of the company "Koordinata," announced that since 2020, the company has been a resident of the "Novosib" industrial park. According to him, this became an important step in the development of the enterprise. By 2025, production space increased from 100 to 800 square meters, and the equipment fleet grew sixfold. The departure of foreign players from the Russian market contributed to the company's growth.
"We used to develop lines for insulin production and various liquid pharmaceutical forms, but after the market opened up, we gained the opportunity to enter new niches. For instance, we are now actively diving into manufacturing equipment for producing tablet forms of pharmaceuticals," the director specified. He emphasized that their in-house design bureau creates original designs rather than engaging in reverse engineering (creating technical documentation and models based on existing samples).
According to Vorobyev, the process of import substitution does not allow for complacency, as extremely strict requirements are imposed in the field of equipment development for pharmaceutical production. If "Koordinata" previously also produced equipment for the food industry, it is now focused entirely on pharmaceuticals.
"Our plans include at least doubling production volumes and building a new plant," said Mikhail Vorobyov. This project was discussed with partners from LLC "New Leasing Company" (which manages the "NOVOSIB" park) to construct the facility within the park. However, funding remains the main obstacle. The company has yet to achieve rapid growth solely through internal resources.
Currently, "Koordinata" is focused on the Russian market but does not rule out the possibility of entering international markets. To do so, significant investments in technology will be required to offer a competitive product. The commercial director stated that Novosibirsk manufacturers, at this stage, aim to improve existing technologies and implement new ones.
In 2024, a new production facility for medical furniture and equipment was launched in Ufa. In St. Petersburg, a full-cycle pharmaceutical production facility was opened.
