Vietnam awaits Russian pharmaceutical companies to enter the market

In today’s world, effective resource management is becoming an increasingly crucial aspect of successful business operations. This is especially true for industries where equipment plays a key role—such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetology, and the food industry.

At North America's largest packaging show PACK EXPO International 2026 (October 18-21, Chicago), Marchesini Group presented world premieres: a robotic high-speed line for monomaterial blisters and the new NPS robotic picking station with AI vision.

A new granulation line has been launched at the ALIUM pharmaceutical site (Binnopharm Group) in Obolensk, Moscow region. The equipment is designed for loads of up to 150 kg per cycle and significantly raised the plant's productivity, which is already heading toward 70 million packs of medicines a year.

A new administrative and production-warehouse complex of the pharmaceutical enterprise Farmstandart-UfaVITA has been commissioned in the center of Ufa. Investment exceeded 10 billion rubles, and new production lines are designed to produce 75 million medicine packages per year.

A Russian drugmaker, with the support of integrator IST-PAK, deployed an Italian SIEMPHARMA SRL counting-filling line for packaging tablets and capsules into plastic jars. The project was delivered despite a constrained shop floor and a fixed budget.

Farmasyntez Group commissioned a new pharmaceutical enterprise in Ussuriysk (Primorsky Krai). The plant with a design capacity of 12 million medicine packages a year was implemented under the import substitution program Pharma-2030; 90% of manufactured items are on the VED list.

Argumentum Pharma is completing the equipping of its new pharmaceutical plant in Moscow region's Dubna SEZ: high-tech automated filling and packaging lines have already been installed. Total investment in the project is estimated at 2.5 billion rubles, with commissioning planned before the end of 2026.

The Russian pharmaceutical manufacturer PFK "Renewal", operating under the Renewal brand, has commissioned a new production facility for the production of vital and essential medicines (VED) in the Novosibirsk region. The area of the complex exceeds 18.1 thousand square meters, and the design capacity reaches 100 million packages of finished products annually.

"VERTEX" is completing the commissioning of a blister-cardboard line with double-sided aluminum packaging, unique for its capacities. The new machine will become the tenth blister line of the enterprise and will allow to produce about 260 thousand packages by the end of 2026.

""""On Moscow Industry Day, Sergei Sobyanin opened a new production complex "Generium-Next" (GC "Farmstandart") at the Alabushevo site. The company will produce genetically engineered drugs for orphan and socially significant diseases for 8.5 billion rubles.

""PSK Pharma" company has completed a major project to modernize the production site of capsules with powder for inhalation at its own enterprise in the "Dubna" special economic zone. Investments exceeded 1 billion rubles, which made it possible to double the capacity of the line — from 80 to 160 thousand capsules per hour — and purchase new analytical and tablet equipment.

PJSC "Biosynthesis", one of the largest pharmaceutical enterprises in the Penza region, is preparing to launch a reconstructed production site for tablet dosage forms. The volume of investments in the project is 350 million rubles, and the implementation will increase the production of drugs, including those included in the list of VED.
