Penza "Biosynthesis" will invest 350 million rubles in the modernization of the tablet production site and create 35 jobs.
Penza Pharmaceutical Company PJSC "Biosynthesis" is completing work on the reconstruction of the production site for tablet dosage forms. According to the regional government, investments in the modernization of the facility will amount to 350 million rubles, and the launch of the new site will create 35 jobs.Preparations for the launch are currently underway at the reconstructed site. The production site is equipped with modern equipment for the production of medicines, which will increase the production capacity of the enterprise.
"Investments in modernization create conditions for the further development of the enterprise. Serious funds have been invested in the modernization of production, which makes it possible to predict that "Biosynthesis" will continue to develop steadily," said Oleg Melnichenko, Governor of the Penza Region.
On September 7, the head of the region visited the reconstructed site. According to him, the company is going through a period of active growth and capacity renewal.
New technologies will allow "Biosynthesis" to increase the production of medicines, including:
- drugs from the list of vital and essential medicines (VED);
- drugs intended to replace demanded imported analogues.
Today "Biosynthesis" produces more than 127 names of medicines, including antibiotics, drugs for the treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract and nervous system. The plant's portfolio includes solutions for infusions and injections, ointments and gels, tablets and capsules.
""After the inspection of the production, a working meeting was held, which was attended by Governor Oleg Melnichenko, CEO of PJSC "Biosynthesis" Dmitry Boldov, Head of the group of companies "Sun Pharma" in Eurasia Artur Valiev and CEO of the Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (ARFP) Victor Dmitriev. The participants discussed the prospects for further development of the company.
"Biosynthesis" is one of the largest Russian manufacturers of vital drugs and is one of the key pharmaceutical companies in the Volga Federal District. The modernization of production facilities is part of the company's long—term strategy aimed at strengthening drug safety and import substitution in the pharmaceutical industry.
