Farmstandart-UfaVITA commissioned a new production and warehouse complex in Ufa for 10 billion rubles.

The official opening of a new administrative and production-warehouse complex of the pharmaceutical plant Farmstandart-UfaVITA took place in the capital of Bashkortostan. Head of the republic Radiy Khabirov attended the launch ceremony of the large-scale complex.

“Farmstandart-UfaVITA is a true 21st-century enterprise, one of the leaders of the country's pharmaceutical industry,” Radiy Khabirov said, congratulating the staff on the opening.

According to the press service of the regional head, total investment in the project exceeded 10 billion rubles. The new building combines modern production lines, warehouse facilities, laboratory blocks and administrative and office areas.

Key indicators of the new complex:

  • Output — advanced production lines are designed to produce about 75 million packages of medicines per year;
  • Jobs — the launch created 250 new highly qualified jobs;
  • Portfolio — the Ufa plant's range exceeds 230 drug names.

The construction project was reviewed and approved by the regional authorities at an “InvestHour” only two years before commissioning and was implemented in a short time.

Khabirov emphasized the strategic importance of the facility not only for the region but for the entire Russian pharma industry: the Ufa plant produces a wide range of vital drugs, including medicines previously supplied only from abroad.

“The Ufa plant continues to work toward technological sovereignty, producing a wide range of medicines. Including those that previously reached our pharmacies only from abroad and that no one else in the country produces,” the head of Bashkortostan added.

During the ceremony the head of the republic presented state awards to the company's employees: General Director Nail Nizamutdinov received an Honorary Certificate of the Republic of Bashkortostan, and the head of the region's gratitude went to construction leader Evgeny Chugunov.

The successful expansion strengthens Ufa's status as one of Russia's leading pharmaceutical centers, boosting tax revenues to the budget and developing professional competencies in the region.
