In the Moscow region, a full-cycle toothpaste production has been launched: from development to packaging.

The cosmetics manufacturer WNT Production Group has launched the production of oral care products for its own brands, including toothpastes, sprays, mouthwashes, and foams, as well as products for professional dental procedures. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Science of the Moscow Region. All products at the digital industrial coworking space in the Ysipovo industrial park are produced either according to customer formulas or based on in-house developments by the company’s technologists.

"The launch of toothpaste production became part of a large-scale company project, with investments estimated at 1 billion rubles. A year and a half ago, the company launched cosmetic production at the Ysipovo industrial park. In less than a year, the enterprise managed to increase its production capacity by 70% and also began launching new production lines," said Ekaterina Zinovieva, Deputy Chairman of the Government – Minister of Investments, Industry, and Science of the Moscow Region.

The company has already begun producing toothpastes: whitening pastes with charcoal, Icelandic moss, and citrus extracts; antibacterial ones with tea tree oil, rosemary, chamomile, and propolis extracts; formulations for sensitive teeth with oak bark, sage, and licorice, as well as children's toothpastes. The company’s technologists paid special attention to developing toothpastes with unusual components and flavors. For example, in the near future, the production of oral care products based on Eastern ingredients will be launched, including those with ginseng, cinnamon, and cardamom extracts. Among the new flavors are blood orange, pink pepper, birch and mint, as well as tobacco and vanilla.

"Currently, toothpastes in dispensers are in the highest demand. Producing such products is more complex. We had to modify our equipment specifically for this purpose. Our production capabilities allow us to handle both large regular shipments for retail chains and small batches. Manual labor on our production line has been minimized, while the amount of high-tech equipment has been maximized. At the beginning of the year, we expanded the range of professional dental products, premium toothpastes with exclusive flavors and ingredients, and also began producing toothpastes for animals," noted Kristina Barmina, CEO of WNT Production Group.

At the production site in Ysipovo, cooking reactors, tube machines, filling, and labeling lines were installed, allowing for quick adaptation of production to new products. The formulation for each product is developed by the company’s technologists in their own laboratory located in the Ysipovo industrial park.

"WNT Production Group, which specializes in contract manufacturing of cosmetic products, in addition to production lines, has set up its own modern laboratory at the Industrial City digital coworking space. This has enabled the company to complete the full technological cycle — from formula development to finished product — as well as thoroughly test all released products at every production stage," added Artem Petrukhin, partner at HSA (developer of Industrial City parks).
