The trends in tea packaging will be covered by the exhibition newspaper "Agroprodmash-2025."

The editorial team of the Unipack.Ru portal is preparing the official newspaper for the 30th International Exhibition of Technologies and Ingredients for the Food and Processing Industries, "Agroprodmash-2025."  The newspaper will feature an article on modern trends in tea packaging.

Tea is one of the world’s most popular beverages, with centuries-old traditions and a rapidly evolving modern market that demands convenience, freshness, and visual appeal from the product.

At the heart of this industry lies tea packaging—an essential component not only for preserving taste and aroma but also for ensuring practicality, shelf appeal, and, increasingly, environmental responsibility.

The article discusses portioned tea packaging formats (tea bags, sachets, sticks). While single-portion packaging focuses on convenience, loose-leaf tea remains popular among connoisseurs who value the ritual and quality of freshly brewed tea in a cup. Packaging solutions in this area often prioritize freshness, offering a premium reusable experience: stand-up pouches (doy packs) are a common choice for loose-leaf tea. These are made from multi-layer materials combining paper, foil, and plastic. Reusable infusers can be used multiple times and adapted for specific types of tea, from oolong to herbal blends. Their popularity is growing alongside increased awareness about single-use plastic waste.

In addition, the article covers eco-friendly tea packaging, which helps reduce the negative environmental impact without compromising quality.

The international exhibition "Agroprodmash-2025." will take place from September 29 to October 2, 2025, at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center.
