Biofarmlab commissioned the third stage of cosmetics production in the Dubna SEZ, reaching up to 3 million units per month.

Biofarmlab, operating at the special economic zone Dubna, has commissioned the third stage of its cosmetics production plant. The launch of new capacity was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.

The new building with a total area of 5,600 square meters will allow the company to reach an output volume of 3 million product units per month. At peak load, production can deliver up to 100,000 units per day.

"The launch of the third stage of the production complex will allow the company to reach an output of 3 million units per month," said Ekaterina Zinovieva, Deputy Chairman of the Government and Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.

Biofarmlab specializes in the development, testing and production of dermatological and cosmetic products with a full cycle. Today the company's assortment includes more than 500 items — from basic care to high-tech dermatological solutions.

A key feature of the site is multi-stage quality control at all stages and an in-house pharmaceutical-grade purified water system with reverse osmosis and UV treatment.

"A key feature of the production is multi-stage quality control at all stages and our own pharmaceutical-grade purified water preparation system," said Ivan Dymchuk, General Director of Biofarmlab LLC.

The launch of the third stage allowed the company to expand production in the mass segment and prepare for new product lines. For the spring-summer season, the company is preparing a full line of sunscreens with vitamins A, E and D under the AEVIT brand.

Products based on safe chemical and physical filters are developed taking into account the genotypic characteristics of the country's population and provide clinically proven protection from solar radiation. The products are approved by dermatologists, and the new line even includes products for children from 6 months.

Now on the key facts of the launch:

  • New stage area — 5,600 sq m;
  • Output volume — up to 3 million units per month;
  • Productivity — up to 100,000 units per day;
  • Assortment — more than 500 items;
  • Full-cycle production in the Dubna SEZ.

Biofarmlab is one of the Dubna SEZ residents developing the segment of cosmetic and dermatological products in the Moscow Region, which today remains the country's largest center of perfume and cosmetics production.
