China's GVPAK presented its Pentawards Bronze-winning paper bottle and a new line of sustainable perfume packaging at Paris Packaging Week 2026.
Chinese eco-packaging maker GVPAK (Green Valley Technology) made a splash at Paris Packaging Week 2026 (February 5–6), unveiling its Pentawards Bronze-winning paper bottle and a new line of sustainable perfume packaging.
At booth T192, one of the largest at the event for the beauty, luxury and beverage sectors, GVPAK proved that premium design and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.
The highlight was the display of the 'Zhi Ying Xiang Shui' (只影向水) paper bottle, which won a Bronze award at Pentawards, one of the world's most prestigious packaging design competitions.
'This achievement highlights GVPAK's position as a pioneer in the industry, offering a high-performance paper bottle that serves as a viable, plastic-free alternative for liquid products,' the company said.
According to the manufacturer, the technology is not just a concept but a market-ready solution for brands looking to reduce their carbon footprint.
Key features of the GVPAK paper bottle:
- Made from 100% biodegradable sugarcane bagasse fibers;
- High strength: longitudinal load over 420 N, transverse at least 400 N, withstands over 80 unscrewing cycles;
- Maintains product integrity for up to 2 years under standard storage conditions;
- 380 ml capacity, weighing just 25 g, dimensions Ø64×157 mm;
- Compatible with both paper caps and plastic pump heads.
In addition to the award-winning bottle, GVPAK unveiled an extensive new collection of stock perfume boxes. Recognizing the growing demand in the fragrance market, the company introduced various new samples of sustainable perfume packaging.
These designs use molded fiber and recyclable materials to create a luxurious, tactile experience without the environmental cost of traditional plastic or complex multi-material laminates. From minimalist white textures to vibrant, embossed finishes, the new perfume boxes let brands launch premium products quickly and sustainably.
Throughout the two-day event, the GVPAK team engaged with brand owners, designers and packaging specialists from around the globe.
'Paris Packaging Week 2026 has been an incredible platform for us to connect with the European market. The positive reaction to our paper bottle and new sustainable perfume packaging confirms that the industry is ready for real change,' said the GVPAK exhibition team.
Green Valley Technology was founded through the merger of the KALI and Otara brands and specializes in sustainable packaging. The company has operated as an OEM supplier for 17 years, delivering more than 1,450 packaging solutions to clients worldwide.
Experts note that the growing interest in paper and molded-pulp packaging is driven both by tightening environmental regulations (including the EU's PPWR) and by rising consumer demand for sustainable solutions in the luxury cosmetics and perfume segment.
