"Arabia" company is opening a new building in Protvin for 700 million rubles, increasing production by 40% to 550 tons of cosmetics per year.
"Arabia" company, specializing in the production of professional care cosmetics and products for salon procedures, is completing the construction of a new production complex in Protvin, Moscow region. The press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region told about the details of the large-scale investment project.
To expand the enterprise, the regional authorities provided the company with a land plot on preferential terms. The area of the new plant will be 10 thousand square meters — it will house both production workshops and storage facilities. It is noteworthy that another building with an area of about nine thousand square meters was launched last year.
"Investments in the project amount to 700 million rubles. The expansion of the enterprise will allow "Arabia" to increase the volume of products by 40% — up to 550 tons of products per year," said Ekaterina Zinovieva, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region."Arabia" company is known as a developer of professional cosmetics for face, body and hair, as well as depilation products. The new building will ensure productivity growth and create additional jobs for residents of the region.
"Today, about 500 people are employees of "Arabia", and 98% of them are residents of Serpukhov, Protvino and neighboring cities. After the new building is put into operation, the company's staff will grow — during 2027-2028, we plan to launch at full capacity and gradually increase our staff from 50 to 150 employees. We expect to launch the new building in September–October of this year," commented the company's CEOOleg Vostrikov.

The launch of the Protvin plant is another step in the trend of localizing and increasing domestic capacities in the perfumery and cosmetics market, which is actively supported at the regional level.
